Herein, we describe the application of titanium dioxide in conjunction with 2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidine-1-oxyl radical (TEMPO) as an oxidant in the synthesis of quinoxalines, via the tandemoxidationprocess (TOP) (Scheme 1).
